CHANDIGARH/JALANDHAR, AUGUST 15:

Launching Aam Aadmi Clinic at local Rajan Colony, Punjab Local Government Minister Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar on Monday said that these clinics were another fulfilment of major promise in healthcare sector by the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led Government.

The Minister, who got his own checkup at the launch of Aam Aadmi Clinic, also pointed out that these clinics would ensure free quality treatment to the people besides providing the facilities of tests. On 75 years of independence , the Minister said, Bhagwant Mann Government has launched 75 such clinics across Punjab in first phase while of these six were being inaugurated in Jalandhar district.

Accompanied by the MLA Sheetal Angural, Deputy Commissioner Jaspreet Singh and AAP leader Surinder Singh Sodhi, the Minister also interacted with the Civil Surgeon Dr Raman Sharma to get details of the functioning of these clinics. He was informed that besides free treatment tests would also be done. The Minister said that these clinics would also be helpful in easing out the burden of patients in Government Hospitals.

It was also apprised that a medical officer along with pharmacist, clinical assistant and attendant have been deployed in these clinics, who would get the healthcare services provided as well as ensuring free of cost tests of 41 types.  These will remain functional between 8 am and 2 pm and 9 am & 3 pm in the winters. The Minister said that the patients with critical complications would be referred.

Describing that healthcare services are one of the top priorities of Bhagwant Mann Government, the Minister said that this step would also ensure quality healthcare services near the houses of people. Olympian Surinder Singh Sodhi and Rajwinder Kaur were also present on the occasion.

MLA RAJAN ANGURAL & MLA INDERJIT KAUR MANN INAUGURATE AACs AT THREE LOCATIONS :

Jalandhar West MLA Sheetal Angural and MLA Inderjit Kaur Mann inaugurated three Aam Aadmi Clinics respectively in Kabir Vihar and Rasoolpura & Farwala. They both lauded this step of Government which would be a boon for people as they have to get quality healthcare services free of cost.  Aam Aadmi Clinics we’re also dedicated at Alawalpur and Pasla were also inaugurated.
