Man Commit Suicide in Doda District, Jammu

Doda, April 13:

A man today committed suicide by jumping into river Chenab from Ganpat bridge near district headquarters Doda.

The man was identified as Muhammad Rafiq, a resident of Doda town.

Eye witnesses told that Rafiq was accompanied by a woman, when he jumped into the river from the bridge. “After he committed suicide the woman returned to her home while crying. After the incident, police, SDRF and locals rushed to the area to search for the body,” said an eye witness.

Few days back, a youth had jumped into the river from same bridge and his body hasn’t been traced so far.
