People in far flung area of doda district don’t have bank facility in their respective areas and they are coming to Doda town after travelling miles on foot from different areas of the district.
Although the residents of Doda are strictly following government advisories, reports pouring in from some parts of district said that in some areas people are facing difficulties due to continuous lockdown. Long quies of villagers were seen in front of Jammu Kashmir Bank Doda.
Due to absence of transport amid COVID-19 lockdown, they didn’t get a vehicle to visit the district headquarters and had to travel on foot.
The people had come to draw some money to purchase eatables and medicines. Residents said that due to continuous lockdown people in far flung areas are facing shortage of food grains and other essential commodities.
