The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will declare the 12th Board results on July 20, 2020, for all the streams on its official website for around 2.9 lakh students who appeared for it. The results will be declared on the basis of the exams which were conducted before the outbreak of COVID Pandemic, students will be offered merit on their best performing subjects. Students can check their results on the official website of PSEB by entering their roll number and specific particulars like birth date and then clicking on the submit button. These results declared on the official website can be downloaded and printed by the students as well.
The assessment principle is based on the fact that the average marks scored by students in the appeared subjects will be allotted to the subjects for which exams have not been conducted, the same rule will be followed for offering marks to the on the job training and vocational subject students. There is a credit-based policy for students who have selected an open schooling medium, as the average marks will be awarded to them from the previous session exams they have appeared in. The 12th results include streams like Humanities and Vocational, Medical and Non-Medical, and Commerce.
