City reported five new covid-19 positive cases total number increased to 13

Chandigarh , March 30

By taking all precautionary & preventive measures Chandigarh Administration is doing its best to ensure that COVID-19 is contained & mitigated. But, unfortunately the total number of positive cases  in the City increased from eight  to thirteen   as per the latest updates. Among five more cases in addition to previous eight cases there is one NRI couple both age 32 years, and a residents of Canada who are admitted at Isolation ward of GMCH-32  have tested Positive for nCoV .

Another is 23 years old male, who is a resident of chandigarh and a primary contact of 8th Covid-19 positive case  also tested positive and he is admitted in the Isolation ward of GMCH-32 Chandigarh. And one more 23 year old male of Chandigarh, who is also a primary contact of 8th COVID-19 positive case is admitted in Isolation ward of GMCH-32, tested positive for nCoV. Fifth one is the mother of 8th COVID-19 positive case, who is admitted in the Isolation ward of Govt. Medical College and Hospital Sector-32, Chandigarh tested positive.

At present total no of COVID19 Positive cases in Chandigarh is 13
