After the decision taken by Punjab Government now, Chandigarh Administration may also take a similar step.
Chandigarh administration may now decide to declare early summer vacations in government and Private schools till 15th May.
These holidays will be treated as advance summer vacations of both government and private schools to cope with the study losses due to lockdown imposed to avert COVID-19.
Also, these lockdown of schools would be treated as summer vacations. All the schools may be closed until 15th May.
The decision is still to be taken by the Chandigarh administration
Advance Summer vacation decision would be taken as a precautionary measure to prevent the possibility of the spread of COVID-19 amongst our children this step has been taken.
Final Decision would be taken on Monday i.e 14th April
