Press Note New Directors Health Department

In an administrative reshuffle in the Health and Family Welfare Department Punjab the postings of the three Directors were changed. Director Health and Family Welfare, Punjab. Dr. Andesh Kang, Director Health Services (Family Welfare) Dr. Om Prakash Gojra and Director Health Services (ESI) Dr. Gurinderbir Singh joined on their respective posts. On this occasion all the staff of the head office welcomed the newly appointed directors and assured them of full cooperation in the functioning of the department.

It is worth mentioning that Director Health and Family Welfare Dr. Andesh Kang started her government service in 1988 as a medical officer, in 2013 promoted as an SMO and promoted as Civil Surgeon Moga in 2020. During her service tenure she also served as State Nodal Officer Food Safety.

Similarly Director Health Services (Family Welfare) Dr. Om Prakash Gojra started his career in the government service in 1988 as a Medical Officer. After promotion to the post of Civil Surgeon in the year 2020, he was appointed as the Principal of the State Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Mohali.

Director Health Services (ESI) Dr. G.B. Singh started his government service as a Medical Officer in the Health Department in 1988 and in 2013 promoted as an SMO. In February 2020, after promotion joined as Civil Surgeon Barnala. On this occasion the three newly appointed directors thanked all the staff for their warm welcome and directed all the employees and officers to perform their duties diligently after assuming office.

ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਭਲਾਈ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਫੇਰਬਦਲ ਤਹਿਤ  ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਭਲਾਈ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਡਾ. ਅੰਦੇਸ਼ ਕੰਗ, ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ (ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਭਲਾਈ) ਡਾ: ਓਮ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਗੋਜਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ (ਈਐਸਆਈ) ਡਾ: ਜੀ.ਬੀ. ਸਿੰਘ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਪੋਸਟਾਂ ਤੇ ਅਹੁਦਾ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਦਫਤਰ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਟਾਫ ਨੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਕਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਭਲਾਈ ਡਾ: ਅੰਦੇਸ਼ ਕੰਗ ਨੇ ਸਾਲ 1988 ਵਿੱਚ ਬਤੌਰ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਅਫਸਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, 2013 ਵਿੱਚ ਬਤੌਰ ਐਸ.ਐਮ.ਓ. ਅਤੇ 2020 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਵਲ ਸਰਜਨ ਮੋਗਾ ਵਜੋਂ ਵਿਭਾਗੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ । ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਾਕਾਲ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਡਾ. ਅੰਦੇਸ਼ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਟੇਟ ਨੋਡਲ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਫ਼ੂਡ ਸੇਫ਼ਟੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਵੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਗਈ।

ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ (ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਭਲਾਈ) ਡਾ: ਓਮ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਗੋਜਰਾ ਨੇ 1988 ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਅਫਸਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਆਰੰਭ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਸਾਲ 2020 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਵਲ ਸਰਜਨ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਤੇ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਟੇਟ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਟ ਆਫ਼ ਹੈਲਥ ਐਂਡ ਫੈਮਿਲੀ ਵੈਲਫੇਅਰ, ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।

ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ (ਈਐਸਆਈ) ਡਾ: ਜੀ.ਬੀ. ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ 1988 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਅਫਸਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ 2013 ਵਿੱਚ ਐਸ.ਐਮ.ਓ. ਵਜੋਂ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਹੋਈ। ਫਰਵਰੀ 2020 ਵਿੱਚ, ਤਰੱਕੀ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਸਿਵਲ ਸਰਜਨ ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਤੇ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਹੋਏ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਨਵ-ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਟਾਫ ਦਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿੱਘੇ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਲਈ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਡਿਊਟੀਆਂ ਤਨਦੇਹੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਭਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ ।
