At least thirteen shops have been gutted in a mysterious fire incident in Gandoh Main Market of District Doda last night. The fire broke out from a shop and engulfed the entire market till the fire tenders reach to the spot. However no loss of life was reported from the incident site. Property worth crores is estimated to have been damaged in the fire incident. Local residents expressed concern over the delayed arrival of fire tenders. Villagers blocked Thatheri – kilotran road for over two hours as a mark of protest against the repeated incidents of fire in the area. This was thirteenth incident of fire since last two years. Earlier about a hundred shops and ten residential houses were gutted in similar firer incidents. Although police registered cases but so far no breakthrough has been achieved by the police. Local resident demanded a high level enquiry into the reoccurrence of the fire incidents. They said that this can be conspiracy baked by some mischievous elements
