Dr. Banwari Lal said that the state government has decided to open Model Sanskriti Schools

Haryana Co-operation Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal said that the state government has decided to open Model Sanskriti Schools in every block of the state so as to provide quality education.

  • Chandigarh, March 13 – Haryana Co-operation Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal said that the state government has decided to open Model Sanskriti Schools in every block of the state so as to provide quality education.
  • Dr. Banwari Lal said this while addressing a gathering after inaugurating Government Model Sanskriti School in  Garhi Bolni village of Bawal block of Rewari district.
  • He said that in each and every school in five education blocks of Rewari district has been given the status of Model Sanskriti School. The list of these schools include Garhi Bolni of Bawal block, Pithrawas of Khol block, Gudiyani of Nahar block,  Tatarpur of Rewari block and Boria Kamalpur of Jatusana block.
  • Co-operation Minister said that government colleges are being opened every 15 kilometers to promote education. He informed that Polytechnic Institutes, Colleges, ITIs, Agricultural Colleges and Model Sanskriti Schools have been opened in Rewari district so that the children can get education as per their academic interests.
  • Dr. Banwari Lal said that a new milk plant will be set up in Southern Haryana with a capacity of packing 3 lakh liters per day. Apart from this, scholarships ranging from Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 12,000 per year are being given under the Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhattar Yojana to encourage the meritorious students of scheduled castes, studying in class XI, first year of graduation and first year of postgraduate courses. Scholarships are being given to students from backward classes as per the marks obtained by them in class X.
  • He said that government is providing free coaching to the candidates belonging to scheduled castes and backward classes with an annual income up to Rs 2.50 lakh through various competitive and prestigious examinations for entrance exams like Civil Services Examination, Banking, Railways, SSC, HTET, CGL and NEET and JEE etc.
  • The Minister said that the kind of development work done during the tenure of present State Government in Bawal region has not been done by the previous governments. Today all the roads in Bawal are paved and there is no inconvenience in visiting the city.
