Haryana Cabinet which met under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister

Chandigarh, February 8: Haryana Cabinet which met under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal here today gave approval to a proposal regarding amendment in Haryana State Education School Cadre (Group-B) Service Rules-2012, Mewat District School Education (Group-B) Service Rules-2012 and Haryana School Education (Group-C) State Cadre Service Rules, 2021. Now Shiksha Shastris and Acharyas will be equal to regular B.Ed and M.A. Sanskrit in the Education Department.

As per the amendment, M.A. in Sanskrit or Acharya with at least 50 percent Marks and Shiksha Shastri or Language Teachers Course (L.T.C.) or Oriental Training (O.T.) in Sanskrit from a recognized university or conducted by the Haryana Education Department or an equivalent qualification recognized by Haryana Education Department or B.Ed. from a recognized university will be substituted in the existing rules and provisions in Haryana State Education School Cadre (Group-B) Service Rules-2012 and Mewat District School Education (Group-B) Service Rules-2012.

As per the amendment made in Haryana School Education (Group-C) State Cadre Service Rules, 2021, Shastri with at least 50 percent marks from a recognized university and Shiksha Shastri/Language Teachers Course (L.T.C.)/Oriental Training (0.T.) in Sanskrit conducted by the Haryana Government or an equivalent qualification recognized by Haryana Education Department.
