Chandigarh February 4: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has congratulated Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar winner Akarsh Kaushal and his father Dr. Gagan Kaushal and other family members who came to meet him in Karnal today.
The Chief Minister said that Akarsh Kaushal has made an outstanding achievement in the field of IT.
The Chief Minister wished Akarsh Kaushal for a bright future and said that he should continue to work for the country in the same way in future also.
It is noteworthy that during the first wave of COVID-19, people found it difficult to get their RTPCR report. It was then Akarsh Kaushal developed a portal/website named KarnalCOVID.com for this, his project was shared with other districts of the state.
Through this website, it became easy for those who got tested for COVID-19 to download the report themselves. Similarly during COVID-19 there was a shortage of beds, during which Aakarsh created a COVID Bed Availability Dashboard as well as an online solution to track home isolated patients in Karnal, which helped in saving many lives.
On this occasion MLA Gharaunda, Sh. Harvinder Kalyan, MLA Nilokheri, Sh. Dharam Pal Gonder, IG Mamta Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Nishant Kumar Yadav, Superintendent of Police Ganga Ram Punia and Dr Aarti Kaushal, Vijay Kaushal were present.
