Chandigarh, April 4- Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister, Sh. Devender Singh Babli said that the officers should take concrete steps to resolve the situation of water logging in villages and also directed to prepare a proposal so that possibilities of permanent solution to this problem can be explored.
Development and Panchayats Minister today was listening to the grievances of the villagers of Tohana constituency. Villagers of the constituency apprised the Cabinet Minister regarding their demands for the village and also handed over a demand letter.
Cabinet Minister, Sh. Devender Singh Babli assured the villagers that along with a permanent solution to the problem of water logging, their other issues will also be resolved. After listening to the problems of the farmers, he directed the officers to prepare a report after getting the Girdawari of the affected areas done so that the farmers can get compensation soon.
He said that for the facilities of clean drinking water in the villages, the government has started work under the Jal Jeevan Mission scheme. With this, arrangements for drinking water will be made in all villages and ‘dhanis’. He said that the State Government is committed to provide basic facilities to every citizen. He added that the vision of our government is to ensure that all the benefits of public welfare schemes should reach the last person standing in the queue.
He said that work is going on on many development projects in the Tohana Assembly Constituency which will be completed soon. He directed the concerned officers to complete the development works in the stipulated time-frame, so that the public can get their benefits on time.
