Haryana Government has resolved to bring the benefit of government services and schemes to the doorstep of beneficiaries in line with the spirit of Antyodaya in the state.

Chandigarh, October 12 – Haryana Government has resolved to bring the benefit of government services and schemes to the doorstep of beneficiaries in line with the spirit of Antyodaya in the state. Chief Minister,

Sh. Manohar Lal is continuously monitoring the delivery of services himself and has given strict directions to officers and employees to ensure to work in a timely manner, else strict action will be taken against them. In order to ensure transparency and accountability in the work by government employees, the State Government has developed new online portals and software using IT, so that the common man can get the benefit of services in easy and timely manner.

In order to ensure transparency and accountability in government work, the Deputy Commissioner of Panchkula district took strict action against HRA Department’s clerk, Anil Kumar for laxity in performing his duties and issued suspension letter to him thereby upholding Chief Minister’s zero tolerance policy.

Anil Kumar has been suspended under Haryana Civil Services Penalties and Appeal Rules, 2016 from October 11, 2021, in view of not presenting satisfactory response in relation to files pending for more than 16 to 60 days on e-Office. During the suspension period, Anil Kumar’s headquarters will be Deputy Commissioner, Panchkula Office and he can leave his headquarters only with the permission of Deputy Commissioner, Panchkula.

The action taken against government employees for negligence will set an example to ensure that government officers and employees carry out their work in a transparent manner so that services are delivered to the public in a timely manner.

It is worth mentioning that ever since Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has taken charge since 2014, he has focused steadfastly on good governance since then.

Disciplinary action is taken on government officials and employees who neglect their work under the Chief Minister’s Zero Tolerance Policy, so that an example may be presented in the state that now the negligence and laxity in government work will not be tolerated.
