Chandigarh, October 13 – Haryana Government today announced the opening of two news institutes of teacher education at Gurugram and Kurukshetra. These institutes will be known as the State Institute of Advanced Studies in Teacher Education and will run four-year degree programmes B.Sc B.Ed and B.A B.Ed.
Sharing more details in this regard, an official spokesperson said that as envisioned by the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal this step is a revolutionary one as Haryana is the first state to implement this gamechanger recommendation of National Education Policy 2020.
It is expected that these two institutions will produce competent teachers equipped with 21 st century skills and cater to the needs of the school education sector not only at the domestic level, but it will pave the way for exporting quality teachers as envisioned by Prime, Sh. Narendra Modi.
The spokesperson said that the admission in the institutes will be started from the current session itself.
