Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the State Government will leave no stone unturned to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the State.

  • Chandigarh, April 29: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the State Government will leave no stone unturned to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the State. Chief Minister was visiting Jind today where he reviewed all the arrangements being made for the prevention of COVID-19 pandemic.
  • During his visit Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal inspected the civil hospital, vaccination centre, blood bank and laboratory and also reviewed the availablity of stock and other arrangements. The Chief Minister also interacted with the family members accompanying the patients in the hospital. He appealed to the people present there to maintain courage and ensured them that there will be no shortage of any kind of medical facility from the Government for the treatment of  Covid-19 patients. MLA, Jind Dr. Krishan Lal Middha was also present.
  • Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal directed the district officers in the review meeting that they should frequently monitor all the medical facilities in the State. In the meeting, he said that we have to combat the coronavirus with amalgamated efforts.
  • In the meeting, the Chief Minister said that there is no shortage of corona vaccine, ventilators, medical devices and oxygen with the State Government. He directed the officers to complete all arrangements for the treatment of patients in all the government and non-government hospitals of the district and maintain mutual coordination. He instructed the authorities to take strict action against those who are blackmarketing and hoarding the oxygen cylinders and other medical devices.
  • Deputy Commissioner Dr. Aditya Dahiya told the Chief Minister that in view of the present situation, adequate resources are available in the district. The Chief Minister also spoke to the IMA President of Jind present in the meeting. He told the Chief Minister that IMA is completely supporting the district administration.
  • Deputy Commissioner Dr. Aditya Dahiya told the Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal that 126 cylinders have been seized after 22 raids to prevent black marketing of oxygen cylinders and other essentials in the district.
  • The Deputy Commissioner said that if the corona infection increases further, the number of beds at the local Gangaputra hospital will be increased from 100 to 300.
