The 73rd Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Haryana. The state level function was organized in Panchkula where the Haryana Governor, Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya unfurled the national flag.

Chandigarh, January 27- The 73rd Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Haryana. The state level function was organized in Panchkula where the Haryana Governor, Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya unfurled the national flag. At the same time, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal unfurled the national flag at Ambala and took the salute of the parade. District level functions were also organized in all the districts on the occasion of Republic Day, in which Deputy Chief Minister, Vidhan Sabha Speaker and Deputy Speaker, Cabinet Ministers, Ministers of State, Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners unfurled the National flag.

Deputy Chief Minister unfurls national flag in Jind

In the district level function organized in Jind, Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala while attending as the chief guest unfurled the flag and took the salute of the grand parade. Earlier, he paid his respects to the martyrs by laying a wreath at the martyr’s memorial. On this occasion, the contingent of Haryana Police paid homage to the martyrs. Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that the free environment in which we are freely living today is because of the martyrs, freedom fighters and soldiers protecting the borders. He said that we will always be indebted to them. He said that it is a day to introspect that how far we have been successful in realizing the vision of the makers of the Constitution. He said that in Haryana also, the government is making efforts to develop every area of the state on the basic mantra of development. On the basis of system change and good governance, many unique initiatives include government jobs to the youth on the basis of merit, online transfer of employees, ration, pension, stipends, etc.

Vidhan Sabha Speaker unfurls national flag in Yamunanagar

Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta unfurled the national flag at the district level Republic Day function organized in the premises of Police Line Jagadhri and inspected the march past and took the salute of the parade. Earlier, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta paid floral tributes to the martyrs by visiting the Martyrs Memorial located in Police Lines. While addressing the function, he said that our constitution came into force on this day in the year 1950. Due to this constitution, we all got equal justice, freedom and equality and he bowed down to all the members of the Constituent Assembly including Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. A long saga of sacrifice of our country’s patriots is associated with Republic Day. Haryana state has also played an important role in the freedom struggle. Even today the youth of Haryana consider it their pride to join the army and this is the reason that today every tenth soldier of the Indian Army is from Haryana.

Home Minister unfurls national flag in Karnal

In the function organized in Karnal, Home Minister Sh. Anil Vij unfurled the national flag as the chief guest and took the salute of the parade. The contingents of Haryana Police, Women Police, Home Guard and NCC Army Wing, NCC Air Wing and Bharat Scouts and Guides participated in the parade. Earlier, Sh. Anil Vij paid homage to the martyrs by paying floral tributes at the martyrdom memorial. On this occasion, the Home Minister announced a prize money of Rs.51,000 each to all the six teams presenting cultural programmes.

He said that Republic Day is associated with a long glorious saga of sacrifice of our patriots. Many freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Chandrashekhar Azad and Udham Singh fought a long struggle and sacrificed to get freedom for the country.

Kanwar Pal unfurls national flag in Kurukshetra

In the function organized in Kurukshetra, Education Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal unfurled the national flag and took the salute of the parade. He paid homage to the martyrs by presenting a wreath at the martyrdom memorial. In the function, the Education Minister honoured the officers and employees who have done remarkable work. Giving a message to the people of the state on this occasion, he said that a long glorious saga of renunciation, tenacity and sacrifice of patriots is associated with Republic Day. The sacrifice of these warriors will never be forgotten. To make the dreams of these bravehearts come true, we have to contribute to the progress of the country and the state. He said that a new National Education Policy is being implemented in the state for imparting education based on culture and employment. It will be fully implemented in the state by the year 2025.

Transport Minister unfurls national flag in Gurugram

District level Republic Day celebrations were organized at Chaudhary Surendra Singh Memorial Cricket Pavilion of Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector 38, Gurugram, where Haryana Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma unfurled the national flag and took the salute of the grand parade. Sh. Mool Chand Sharma paid homage to the martyrs by offering flowers at the war memorial located in Gurugram. Addressing the programme, the Transport Minister mentioned the achievements of the State Government and the Central Government. He said that the present state government under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has worked to create new hope among the people by creating a new system in the state. Following the basic mantra of Sabka Saath – Sabka Vikas, the government has changed the picture of the state and the fate of the people. He called upon the people to take a pledge to engage with our full potential in building the country and the state.

Agriculture Minister unfurls the national flag in Bhiwani

In the district level function organized in Bhiwani, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Sh. JP Dalal unfurled the national flag and took the salute of the parade. He inspected the spectacular march past. The Agriculture Minister paid floral tributes to the immortal martyrs who laid down their lives for the country’s independence by laying a wreath at the Martyrs Memorial located at Nehru Park. Sh. Dalal said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, the Central Government took many such decisions in the last nearly eight years, which not only changed the outlook of the world towards India, but also made us be recognized as a powerful country. He said that the youth of our country has brought laurels to the world in every field including sports and education.

Cooperation Minister unfurls national flag in Hisar

In the function organized in Sirsa, Cooperation Minister Dr. Banwari Lal unfurled the national flag and inspected the parade. He said that the Constitution of India, written by Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and the members of the Constituent Assembly, is the best constitution in the world, due to which people of all religions, sects and castes of the country have got equal rights in social, economic and political terms. He said that villages are being made Lal Dora free to give ownership rights to the villagers. In this 6309 villages have been covered. Under the ‘Mera Parivar-Meri Pehchan’ programme, Parivar Pehchan Patra of all families are being made.

Kamal Gupta unfurls national flag in Rohtak

Urban Local Bodies Minister, Dr. Kamal Gupta unfurled the national flag at the district level function of 73rd Republic Day in Rohtak and took the salute of the grand parade. Dr. Kamal Gupta said that we salute the freedom fighters and brave martyrs who laid down their lives in the freedom struggle of the country, due to which we are breathing in the open air. A grateful nation will always be indebted to these martyrs. He announced an amount of Rs. 4 lakh for the programme and Rs. 1 lakh for urban areas from his voluntary fund. He said that the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has done a bold act of abolishing Article 370 to implement one constitution and one legislation in the country. Schools and colleges have been established to promote education in the state. Many schemes are being implemented by the Central and State Governments for the welfare of the farmers.

Minister of State O P Yadav unfurls national flag at Charkhi Dadri

Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Sh. O. P. Yadav unfurled the national flag at a Republic Day function in Charkhi Dadri. On this occasion, he said that India is a great republic of the world, where different cultures are included in the democratic system. He said that the state government was working for the betterment of every section of farmers, traders, women, sportspersons, labourers, ex-servicemen etc. The Minister of State honoured the bravehearts and military medal winners present in the function with shawls.

Minister of State for Women and Child Development unfurls national flag in Rewari

Smt. Kamlesh Dhanda, Minister of State for Women and Child Development, unfurled the National Flag at the 73rd District Level Republic Day function held at Rewari and took the salute of the march past. During this, she honoured the officers and employees for their commendable performance in various fields. On this occasion Smt. Kamlesh Dhanda said that it is a matter of privilege for her to come to the holy land of Amar Shaheed Rao Tularam, one of the great heroes of the freedom struggle of 1857.

Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sh. Sandeep Singh unfurled the national flag at the district level 73rd Republic Day celebrations in Faridabad. Earlier, he paid floral tributes to the martyrs by visiting the martyr memorial. He also honored people doing good work and government officials and employees. On this occasion, the Minister of State for Sports said that the players of the state have brought laurels to the country and the state by winning medals in Olympics and other international competitions. All this is a result of the dedication and hard work of our players and the sports policy of the government. Haryana gives the highest cash amount in the country as a reward to the players who win medals. It is the first state in the country to give an advance amount of Rs. 5 lakh for preparation for the Olympics.
