- Chandigarh, May 30 – Director General of Police (DGP), Haryana, Sh. Manoj Yadava has expressed grief over the sad demise of E/SI Sh. Gurmail Singh, who breathed his last at a private hospital in Mohali, Punjab after battling Covid-19. Currently, he was posted at City Police Station, Narwana.
- In a condolence message, Sh. Yadava described this as a major loss to the Police Department and added that E/SI Sh. Gurmail Singh was an honest, hard-working, and dedicated police officer who performed his duties with utmost sincerity and professional commitment. He would be long remembered for his bravery and services to the Police department.
- Praying for peace to the departed soul, he along with entire Police Department empathized with the bereaved family and wished them strength to bear this irreparable loss.
- Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police, Jind, Sh. Wasim Akram also expressed deepest condolences towards the bereaved family members and prayed the Almighty to give eternal peace to the departed soul.
