Doda February 5:- Doda police claim to have arrested 2 persons during nakas from outskirts of doda town and recovered Heroin from their possession. According to police a special team of Doda police while conducting routine patrolling/naka chickening at Gadsoo about one Kilometer from pull doda police post and found two person namely Shakir Hussain and Firdous Ahmed both resident of Thathri moving under suspicious condition and during their checking, police party found 730 gram heroin from their possession. The heroin was seized and both persons arrested. The consignment was being transported in a Swift Desire car bearing registration number JK06A 3964. The car was also seized by the police.
A case under NDPS Act has been registered in P/S Doda and further investigation is going on.
