Chief Minister inaugurates and lays foundation stones of developmental projects worth Rs. 69.04 crore at Panarsa in Darang assembly constituency

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated and laid foundation stones of developmental projects worth about Rs. 200 crore in Darang assembly constituency of Mandi district today out of which developmental projects of Rs. 69.04 crore were provided to the people at Panarsa alone.

Chief Minister inaugurated developmental projects worth Rs. 18.39 crore at Panarsa which include Rs. 10.36 crore augmentation of WSS Thlkandhar in Gram Panchayat Gharan, WSS to NC/P habitation in CV Rehan, Bandhi and Halag in Gram Panchayat Bandhi, augmentation of WSS Palnidhar Bandal and WSS Saran, Badhani, Khablash, Surth, Sehgal and Sansoi, Rahari in GP Kotadhar in tehsil Sadar, Rs. 64 lakh CAD of LIS Hansu Sojha Jori and Kigas in Gram Panchayat Kotadhar, Rs. 27 lakh residence building of Junior Engineer (PWD) at Panarsa, Rs. 28 lakh residence building for Assistant Engineer (PWD) at Panarsa, Rs. 1.80 crore Kathiyari to Ansar road, Rs. 1.84 crore  Rahala to Shayari road under PMGSY, Rs. 2 crore Sheep Shed building at RAM Centre Nagwain and Rs. 1.20 crore office-cumtraining centre building at RAM Centre Nagwain.

Jai Ram Thakur laid foundation stones of Rs. 50.65 crore including Rs. 49 lakh WSS to PC habitation in CV DPF Sarain, Kanoj and Ropa in Gram Panchayat Chaitigarh in tehsil Aut,  Rs. 89 lakh LWSS to PC habitation in census village Jhiri, Nagwain, and Shil Mashora in Gram Panchayat Nagwain and Jhiri in tehsil Sadar, Rs. 2.32 crore improvement and augmentation of WSS Bhatwari, Shall, Shara, Nihlu, Oddidhar, Rains, Nasyar and Batta Chunanai in Gram Panchayat Bhatwari and Bandhi in tehsil Sadar, Rs. 2.46 crore CAD of LIS Panarsa in tehsil Sadar, Rs. 50 lakh CAD of LIS Takoli, Rs. 81 lakh CAD of LIS Jhiri, Rs. 1.15 crore CAD of LIS Nagwain, Rs. 7.75 crore providing functional house tap connection to the balance households of various villages of Gram Panchayats Kotadhar, Pali, Frash, Kathyari, Bandhi, Kot, Dhalyash, Bhatwari, Aut Nau and Kigs in tehsil Aut, Rs. 11.39 crore improvement and augmentation of LWSS Dugli Challa in Gram Panchayat Kot Dhalyas in tehsil Sadar, Rs. 17.18 crore Jawalapur-Prashar road under NABARD, Rs. 50 lakh helipad at Kotadhar (Panarsa) and expansion of Market Yard building at Takoli to be constructed with a cost of Rs. 5.21 crore.

While addressing public meeting at Panarsa in Darang Vidhan Sabha area Chief Minister said that this day was indeed historic for the people of Darang area as developmental projects worth Rs 200 crore were dedicated by him in one day. He dared former Minister of Congress from this area to provide him details of development he has done in the constituency during his tenure as Minister. He said that the former Minister only make false allegations by organizing press conference at Mandi as he is expert in spreading canard.

Chief Minister said that the opposition leaders need not worry about his nature and way of functioning, but should focus on their own deeds. He said that people of the State has reposed full faith in him and he has no need to change his nature. He said that the previous Government could not even create a single panchayat, whereas the present State Government has created 412 new panchayats. He also accused the Congress leader for politicizing Corona pandemic. The Congress leaders must tell the people of the State what they have done in health sector during the last fifty years, he added.

Jai Ram Thakur said that the State was made smoke free by the present State Government by providing free gas connection to over 3.15 lakh eligible families under Grihini Suvidha Yojna.

Chief Minister announced opening of Primary School at Raish, Jal Shakti Inspection Hut at Nau, Science classes in Senior Secondary School at Nagwain from next session, Rs 25,000 each to mahila mandals present on the occasion from Vidhayat Nidhi of local MLA Jawahar Thakur.

MLA Darang Jawahar Thakur thanked the Chief Minister for dedicating and laying foundation stones of developmental projects about Rs 200 crore in three functions held in Darang vidhan sabha area today. He also detailed a few developmental demands of Panarsa area of the constituency. He said that the Jawalapur-Prashar road was possible due to the special interest and benevolence of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. He urged the Chief Minister for including Prashar under the Nai Raahein, Nai Manzilein programme and opening of Milk collection centre at Takoli.
