Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today visited HIMUDA Vice President and former Minister Praveen Sharma at his house at Amb in Una district. Jai Ram Thakur condoled the demise of Praveen Sharma’s father Jyoti Prakash Sharma, who was 93 years old and offered condolences to the family. He prayed almighty god for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Earlier, in an informal conversation with the reporters at the helipad in Gondpur Banehra, Chief Minister said that the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done commendable work in the Covid vaccination and best efforts were also being made to reduce the inflation. He welcomed the decision of central government to reduce the excise duty on petrol and diesel prices and said that the State government has also reduced VAT on petrol and diesel to provide relief to the people.
Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Virendra Kanwar, MLA Balbir Singh Chaudhary, Rajesh Thakur, Rakesh Jamwal, Vinod Thakur, HPSIDC Vice President Prof. Ram Kumar, Political Advisor to Chief Minister Trilok Jamwal, OSD to Chief Minister Mahendra Singh Dharmani, Hariom Bhanot, Sushil Kalia, Deputy Commissioner Una Raghav Sharma and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
