Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today visited The Ridge Shimla to review the preparedness of arrangements regarding celebration of golden jubilee function of Statehood to be held tomorrow.
Chief Minister gave necessary directions to the officers for making foolproof and elaborate arrangements to make the event a success and memorable one. He also asked them to ensure that minimum inconvenience is caused to the general public and tourists during the celebrations.
Jai Ram Thakur also visited exhibition stalls and gave necessary directions to concerned officers to make the exhibitions interesting and catchy so that people could get glimpse of 50 years of glorious journey of development, the State had witnessed.
Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, MP and State BJP President Suresh Kashyap, Political Advisor to CM Trilok Jamwal, Chief Secretary Anil Khachi, Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister J.C. Sharma, Secretary GAD Devesh Kumar, Director, Tourism Yunus, Director Information and Public Relations Harbans Singh Brascon and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
