साम्बा,: हिंदू कैलेंडर के माघ महीने के पहले दिन मक्कर सक्रांति के मौके पर जिला साम्बा के घगवाल के विश्व विख्यात भगवान नरसिंह मंदिर के पहले दिन हजारों की संख्या में लोगों ने मंदिर में पहुंचकर इस पहले दिन की शुरूआत की। दुल्हन की तरह सजे भगवान नृङ्क्षसह मंदिर में कतारों में खड़े लोग कई घण्टों खड़े होकर दर्शन की प्रतिक्षा करते रहे।
इस दौरान हिंदू मान्यता के तहत खिचड़ी भी मंदिरों में बनाई गई, जिसका पूरी तरह से भक्तों ने लुफ्त किया। मंदिर में बाहरी राज्यों के श्रदलुओं का भी जमावाड़ा दिखा। आपकों बतां दे कि लोहड़ी के अगले दिन मक्कर सक्रांति के मौके पर नए साल की शुरूआत की जाती है।
