It is designed by Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron, the locals have fondly given it the title of Bird’s Nest for its striking resemblance to the same. If you went with the architectural detail of this stadium, you can notice that it is inspired by a bird’s nest. The stadium’s structure has a spatial grid-like formation which includes the presence of a bowl-shaped interior, roof, and staircases, all of which have been given shape by the overlapping steel trusses. Furthermore, the empty spaces within the structure are filled with a translucent membrane, which resembles a lot like how birds build their nests by stuffing other materials in the empty spaces of structures they build.

2.Sagrada Familia (Spain):-

The Sagrada Familia is one of the top architectural wonders in Barcelona and it has been known for being incomplete for years. Although it was finally completed in 2000, the church’s original architect, Antoni Gaudi, is said to have been motivated by his faith while designing this church. The architecture of the unfinished part of this church, which was later completed, was inspired by nature that beautifully depicts the relationship shared between nature, humans and their religion. The central nave of the church has been modeled after tree trunks and their branching canopies. The purpose of the church’s architecture is to make visitors feel as if they are walking into an enormous forest.
