In India, the Covid-19 count crossed 1000 mark on Sunday, with the states reporting 130 new cases which are the highest for a single day so far. This is the first time Delhi’s single-day Covis-19 tally has crossed into the double digits. It is a worrying sign, the authorities said.

Sunday is the third consecutive day nationally when the count of new cases was over 100, which indicates that the infection was spreading. States have reported 1122 coronavirus positive cases so far, of which 30 have died.
Maharashtra who has the highest number of Covid-19 cases has reported 203 positive cases till now and two fresh deaths on Sunday, taking the number to eight. After Maharashtra, Kerala is worst affected by the Covidd-19 crisis with 202 cases and one death. Gujarat, on the other hand, has reported 58 Covid-19 cases and five deaths so far. Similarly, there are many cases that have been reported from different parts of the country.
