- Chandigarh, 24 February- Giving a chance to the youth of Haryana to showcase their skills at national and international forums, Haryana Skill Development Corporation (HSDC) has opened registrations for ‘India Skills Competition-2021’. Last day for registration is February 28, 2021.
- Giving information, an official spokesperson said that in order to find talent and to promote the international standards of vocational training in India, the Union Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Haryana Skill Development Corporation (HSDC) is organizing a biggest biennial skill competition, ‘India Skills Competition-2021’, in which the registered youth can take part in 29 types of skill competitions.
- He said that the candidates can register for state level competitions at https://worldskillsindia.co.in/worldskill/indiaskills.php Haryana’s registered candidates will get an opportunity to showcase their talent in various skills ranging from Carpentry, Beauty Therapy, Plumbing, Mobile Robotics, Cooking, and Welding to Fashion Technology, he added. He said that participants must be born on or after January 1, 1999 for all types of skills other than Mechatronics, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security and Water Technology and Information Network Cabling. Participants must be born on or after January 1, 1996 for Mechatronics, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security and Water Technology and Information Network Cabling. He said that the winners of the State-Level competition can later participate in national and international competitions.
