Haryana Government implementing various Welfare Schemes in villages to provide basic facilities on the lines of cities- Cooperation Minister
Chandigarh, April 17- Haryana Cooperation Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal said that Haryana Government is effectively implementing various schemes and programmes to provide basic facilities even in villages on the lines of cities so that maximum number of people residing in rural areas can be developed.
In the programme organized in Rewari while celebrating the series of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, he said that Model Sanskriti Schools are being upgraded for better education to children in rural areas and Anganwadi Centers are upgraded to Playway schools to provide education through sports and games to children in the state. He said that on the lines of private schools, emphasis is being laid on providing education to more and more children in government schools so that the financial burden on the parents can be reduced.
The Cooperation Minister further said that the government has decided to make changes in the sports policy so that the sportsperson joining government service under sports quota can continue to participate for the state and later they could play an important role in nurturing new sports talents in the state.
Supreme contribution of B.R Ambedkar in upliftment of every section of the society-Banwari Lal
Cooperation Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal on Sunday unveiled the statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar in village Harchandpur of Bawal assembly constituency. He said that Baba Saheb devoted his life to public service while playing an important role in the upliftment of every section of the society. He said that the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal are stepping forward by following the principles of Baba Saheb in true sense. Welfare schemes are being prepared and implemented for the needy people of the society. He called upon the youth of the state to follow the three basic mantras of Dr. Ambedkar i.e shiksha, sangathan and sangharsh (education, organise and struggle). He extended contribution of Rs 5 lakh for Ambedkar Park and urged the people for their maximum participation in Prakashotsav of Sh. Guru Tegh Bahadur ji which is going to held at Panipat on April 24, 2022.
